On March 12, 2008 EPA promulgated a revised 8-hour standard for ground-level ozone at 0.075 ppm (75 ppb).
On October 17, 2006 EPA promulgated a revised 24-hour standard for particle pollution at 35 micrograms per cubic meter. On December 14, 2012 EPA promulgated a revised annual standard for particle pollution at 12 micrograms per cubic meter. The particle pollution standard specifically addresses particles smaller than 2.5 microns (PM2.5).
