Maine DEP Implementation of American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 Funds

On February 17, 2009 the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) was signed into law. Maine DEP has received ARRA funds in several investment program areas:

• Clean Water State Revolving Fund (CWSRF) for wastewater infrastructure and non-point source abatement projects.
• Clean Water Act Section 604(b) Water Quality Management Planning.
• Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA).
• Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) program.
• Brownfield redevelopment.
