  • 2013 Childhood Lead Poisoning: Continuing LHO Education
    Local Health Officers (LHOs) who complete all five moLocal Health Officers (LHOs) who complete all five modules of this training are eligible for one-credit hour of continuing education. LHOs continuing their appointment/employment with their respective towns may use this credit towards the completion of the required six credit hours LHO revalidation. If you have not completed the initial LHO online training please complete that training before completing this Childhood Lead Poisoning module.   • 2013 Maine Local Health Officer Online Training - This initial training is a self-directed course. A duly appointed Local Health Officer (LHO) must complete this training within six (6) months of the town's official appointment. Completion of this online training will meet the requirement of the Rule and qualify a duly appointed individual to function as a municipal LHO. This web-based program will provide useful links, references, and resources to guide you in fulfilling your duties as an LHO.
