For more information MaineCare ICD-10 webpage.

  • A new report has been created to inform residential treatment providers about the ITRT approved and waiting list (word) or residential placement. This report will be updated weekly.

March 2013

  • Effective March 26, 2013, the Office of Child and Family Services will no longer be approving any requests from Individual Planning Funds (IPF) through Children's Behavioral Health, as funding is no longer available.

We will honor any requests previously approved. In the Governor's proposed fiscal year 2014-2015 budget, these funds are scheduled to be available.

February 22, 2013

  • Beginning February 22, 2013, DHHS will transfer responsibility for utilization review of Services for Children with Cognitive Impairments and Functional Limitations (Section 28) to APS Healthcare.  This means that APS will receive proposed treatment plans from agencies, and will review the plans to see if they meet Medicaid requirements.   The Department will still be responsible for receiving referrals for this service, and for determining eligibility as usual.  The OCFS staff who have been overseeing Section 28 will be taking on duties related to contract monitoring and quality improvement for behavioral health services for children.

You can find more information about APS Healthcare on their website http://www.qualitycareforme.com/default.htm or by calling them at 1-866.521.0027.
