The Southern Maine Shoreline: A Brief History

Substantial geologic changes have shaped southern Maine since the last ice age. A virtual tour of the shoreline will review long-term, observed changes in sea level, and delve into observations on sea level changes over the past 100 years and the response of the shoreline to both natural and human influences.
