The minor channel of the Morse River joins the larger channel in the distance. In the center of the picture a small sand bar in the center of the channel is shaped like a ramp, a miniature flood-tidal delta form, and indicates shoreward movement of sand - another sign that this inner channel is beginning to fill with sand.
