Figure 14. A second view of the south bank of the Morse River and Seawall Beach spit closer to the end than shown in Figure 13. The spit curves landward and diverts the Morse River toward Popham Beach State Park in the background. Note how the spit elevation changes where a lobe of sand projects to the left. This lobe is a former terminus of the spit that has since built eastward. At least two such spit lobes were present in November 2008. MGS file photo by S. M. Dickson taken November 4, 2008.
