Natural Resource Conservation Service Reviews

The Maine Natural Areas Program, in cooperation with the Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Widlife reviews Farm Bill projects for NRCS. Projects are typically submitted to MNAP by NRCS representatives on behalf of their clients. MNAP reviews these projects for rare, threatened, or endangered species and sensitive habitats and makes a determination regarding the effect of the proposed activity on the resources present.
