The Gambling Control Board recognizes that compulsive gambling is a treatable disorder and supports the efforts of the Office of Substance Abuse in trying to raise public awareness about it. The Board understands that there are those that need assistance in addressing their gambling issues and would encourage them to seek help by using the services provided by the Office of Substance Abuse or their own private service provider.
