Jobs & Training - 58th Maine State Police Training Troop

58th RTT Class Photo

After completing 18 weeks of basic law enforcement training, Maine State Police Recruits must complete several more weeks of intense training before they earn the title of "Trooper". Beginning in January of 2008 the 58th Recruit Training Troop (RTT) started down that final stretch of road to become Maine State Troopers. The pages you find here will track their progress, week by week, as they learn, experience, and endure some of the toughest but best training found anywhere.
