Staff will both identify the eligibility and interest of an incumbent for reappointment, and also recognize other potential candidates for appointment. On behalf of the Governor, the Department will confer with state departments and other interested parties with regard to the needs of the Board. Reference and, when appropriate, background checks will be conducted on all potential candidates.
