Aug 22-Sept. 7 THE FINAL CHARGE, a massive, museum quality display showing two huge Bull Moose with locked antlers, created by taxidermist Mark Dufresne of Nature’s Reflections Taxidermy in Gray. Most often exhibited at the LL Bean flagship store in Freeport, this amazing display is on loan to us for our visitors to view & photograph up close! www.llbean.com

Saturday Sept. 6 RICK CHARETTE CONCERT! As a singer & songwriter, Rick Charette has been capturing the hearts & spirits of young & old alike with his delightful & inspiring children’s songs. His performances blend original contemporary pop music & lyrics with imaginative activities that generate all kinds of audience participation. Many songs performed will be about Maine’s wild animals! MEET GAME WARDEN STARS OF NORTH WOODS LAW AT THE MAINE WILDLIFE PARK THIS SATURDAY!

MEET GAME WARDEN STARS OF NORTH WOODS LAW AT THE MAINE WILDLIFE PARK THIS SATURDAY!

Meet the Maine Game Wardens featured on the popular Animal Planet TV show North Woods Law at the Maine Wildlife Park, off Route 26 in Gray; on Saturday, September 27th, National Hunting and Fishing Day, from 9:30am – 11:30am and 1:00pm-3:00pm!

Make sure to bring your cameras to have photos taken with the stars! The Warden Service Operation Game Thief ‘Wall of Shame’, Dive Trailer, Airboat and other special equipment and displays will also be available for viewing.

There is no extra fee for this special event, however regular wildlife park admission will apply. Adults $7, 4-12 $5, Seniors $5, 3/under free.

Animal Planet is currently filming a 4th season of North Woods Law here in Maine, featuring both current and new Maine Game Wardens, for exciting new shows about Maine and the dangerous jobs of our Game Wardens.

Maine Wildlife Park closes an hour earlier starting Oct. 15

The wildlife park admissions gate will close at 3:30pm and visitors must exit the park by 5pm from October 15 through our last day of the season on Nov. 11 due to earlier sunsets and associated darkness.

Veteran's Day - Nov. 11 - Maine Wildlife Park closing day

On our last day of the season, Veteran's Day, the wildlife park will offer free admission for U.S. Military personnel, Veterans & their immediate family members with a valid ID.

Our picnic shelters and Outdoor Classroom may be reserved for parties, special occasions, family gatherings and more!

Special Wildlife programs and tours available.

Consider volunteering at the Wildlife Park. There are opportunities for gatehouse attendants, tour guides, gardeners and store clerks in the Snack Shack and Nature Store.
