Maine Warden Service Aerial Photographs

Maine Warden Service aerial photographs taken this afternoon show ice dams that are being monitored by Maine emergency management officials. The photos were taken by Sgt. Tom Ward from a plane flown by Warden Pilot Daryl Gordon.

The areas being watched include:

From Grand Isle to St. David (west of Van Buren) – the St. John River – a 6-mile ice jam;

Crouseville – the Aroostook River -- a small and a large ice jam.
