81-year-old Sangerville Man Located at Hospital

Augusta, Maine - A Sangerville man reported missing this morning was located at approximately 2:15 p.m. today at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Edwin Howard, 81, of Sangerville, was last seen at his residence on Silver Mills Road in Sangerville at approximately 10 p.m. Wednesday. He was not in the residence when his wife woke up this morning at approximately 7 a.m.

The Maine Warden Service and the Piscataquis County Sheriff’s Department initiated a search in the area around Mr. Howard’s home on the Sangerville-Dexter town line.

According to Maine Warden Service Sgt. Kevin Adam, based on investigative efforts it was learned that Mr. Howard was at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
