Amity Man Dies In ATV Incident
Augusta, Maine - Mark Howell, 47, of Amity, died overnight (Oct. 23, 2010), when he hit some trees off Estabrook Road in Amity while riding his ATV.
The Maine Warden Service was contacted at 2 a.m. to look for Mr. Howell. Wardens searched during the night, and Mr. Howell was located at approximately 8 a.m. He was not wearing a helmet, and was dead at the scene.
The incident is under investigation, according to Maine Warden Service Sgt. Durwood Humphrey.
