June 19, 2012 Search for missing swimmer - China, Maine China, Maine - The Maine Warden Service is asking for your help in locating TYE FEIHEL, age 43, from 1100 Lakeview Drive in China. Mr. Feihel was last seen swimming in China Lake at 3:00 PM yesterday (06-18-2012). This is a familiar swim for him but it was his first for the year. Feihel begins his swim at his residence and follows the shoreline to the landing at the Lakeside Country Store on Lakeview Drive in China. His mother picks him up and returns him home after each swim. Yesterday, he never made it to the landing. Feihel does have Autism and Schizophrenia but is not on medication. He is generally very happy and enjoys talking to everyone.
Photo courtesy of Maine Warden Service His description is 5 feet 2 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has very short black hair with brown eyes. He was last seen wearing swim trunks and a yellow mono swim fin. Anyone with any information relating to Feihel’s location is urged to contact the Maine Warden Service at 207-624-7076. Assisting in today’s search are game wardens, the Maine Warden Service Dive Team, Warden Service aircraft and watercraft as well as China Fire & Rescue and China Police Department. |
