Bill Summaries - At the end of each legislative session, the Office of Policy and Legal Analysis produces a summary of bills that were considered by the joint standing committees of the Legislature, excluding Taxation and Appropriations and Financial Affairs. Bill summaries describe each bill (LD), primary sponsor/s, committee amendments and other relevant amendments, final action taken on the bill, and if the bill was enacted, its chaptered law number.

Drafting Manual - A guide for drafting legislative instruments, the manual is periodically updated by the Revisor's Office. Laws of the State of Maine - contains all Session Laws and related documents of each Legislative Session.  Limited copies also are available in hard copy form at no charge from the Revisor's Office at time of publication and through the Law and Legislative Reference Library thereafter.  Produced by the Revisor's Office.

Legislative Process - A brief summary of the process legislation takes in the Maine Legisalture (How a bill becomes law).  A detailed version is also available.

Legislative Scholarship Fund - The Legislative Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 as the successor of the Gould-Michaud Scholarship Funds.  The fund makes scholarship awards available to Maine residents attending any accredited Maine institution of higher education, in honor of all Legislators and Staff who served the Maine Legislature.

Maine Constitution - The Constitution of Maine is updated as necessary by the Revisor of Statutes upon ratification of amendments to the constitution by the voters of the State. The Constitution of Maine is subject to recodification every 10 years by its own terms (see Article X, Section 6). The last recodification was in 1993.

Maine Revised Statutes (MRSA) - The Maine Revised Statutes are maintained and updated each fall by the Revisor of Statutes to incorporate changes made by the immediately preceding legislative session.

Revisor's Report - An annual report that contains a description of all nonsubstantive changes and corrections made to the statutory database by the Revisor as authorized by the Maine Revised Statutes, Title 1, Section 95.

Legislative Study Reports (OFPR) - study information for those studies authorized by the Legislature and staffed by the Office of Fiscal and Program Review.

Legislators Handbook - The Legislators' handbook, prepared by the Office of Policy and Legal Analysis, is a practical reference manual to help newly elected Legislators become familiar with the legislative process as they begin their term in the Legislature. The information presented in this handbook may be useful to state and local officials and other interested persons as well.
