David Dutremble is serving his first term in the Legislature as the Senator from District 4 (Arundel, part of Biddeford, Kennebunk, and Kennebunkport). Dutremble is a currently a Lieutenant Firefighter and EMT with the Biddeford Fire Department. He is also a Limited Master Electrician in housewiring. His family has a history of political and community service in Biddeford and in Maine. His father was the York County Sheriff for 17 years, his uncle served in the House, and his cousin served in both chambers of the Legislature and as Senate President.

Dutremble and his wife Charlene live in Biddeford and have five children: Christopher, Matthew, Morgan, Austin, and Mackenzie.
