Passenger Transportation Planning
In 1996, the Maine Department of Transportation formed the Office
of Passenger Transportation and chartered the Passenger Transportation
Advisory Committee. These initiatives are now fostering a multimodal
approach to moving people that is unique among rural state transportation
agencies.
