Exhibitor, Advertiser and Sponsor Opportunities Still Available for Preparedness Conference

February 25, 2013

Exhibit space is still available for the Fifth Annual Maine Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference which will be held Tuesday and Wednesday, April 23rd and 24th, 2013 at the Augusta Civic Center.

Exhibitor space is reserved for both days, and includes an 8 foot table, power, chairs, pipe and drapes, lunch and snacks for the two days. Exhibit space for government and non-profit partners is free. A small fee will be charged to commercial vendors.

Program advertising and sponsorship opportunities are also available.

All fees for space, advertising and sponsorships are listed on the registration website. These fees defray the operating costs of the conference, and make it possible for Maine's emergency management partners, many of whom are volunteers, to attend for free.

Program Advertising Options

Quarter, Half and Full page program ad space is available. Ads must be confirmed by March 1, and art work submitted by March 8th, 2013 to maineprepares@maine.gov

Sponsorship Options

Sponsors may choose to support Conference food service: continental breakfast, morning and afternoon snacks or lunch for one or two days. Sponsors will be listed in the conference program (with logo, if made available), announced by the moderator throughout the conference, and recognized on placards placed near the food tables. Sponsors may register online, and should email a print ready company logo to maineprepares@maine.gov

Online Registration is now open for all attendees and presenters as well as exhibitors, advertisers and sponsors. Attendance for conference participants is free.

The Conference typically attracts over 600 emergency managers, school and public officials and first responders. More than 50 individual workshops and meetings will be offered over the two days. Conference tracks include Home and Family Preparedness, School and Community Preparedness, Emergency Management and Homeland Security and Hazardous Materials. A draft agenda is available on the registration web site.

Each year the Conference focuses on lessons learned in recent events, either here in Maine or in other States. That theme will be highlighted this year as well.

Online registration for participants and exhibitors is now available. There is no charge for attending the conference. There is a small fee for exhibitors, but no charge for not-for-profit and government exhibitors.

The Maine Partners in Emergency Preparedness Conference is a partnership among the State Emergency Response Commission, The Maine Emergency Management Agency and the Maine Association of Local Emergency Managers.

Don't miss this two-day networking opportunity with statewide and national preparedness partners. View the agenda and register now for exhibit space, program ad or sponsorship.
