Training Announcement: Kennebec County EMA Schedules ICS 300 Course

Kennebec County EMA will conduct the ICS-300 Course, Intermediate Incident Command, over 4 sessions in March. All sessions will be held at the Waterville Fire Station. What:

Course Information:Kennebec EMA is offering this course in order to help all departments fulfill their compliance with the continuing NIMS-ICS minimum training requirements for Maine, based on FY 09 FEMA Guidance. Prerequisites are IS-100, IS-200, and IS-700. Seating is limited. IS-300 expands on IS-100 and IS-200, and provides training on resources for personnel who require advanced applications of the Incident Command System. The class is required for EMS Chiefs, Law Enforcement Chiefs and Deputies, Fire Chiefs, Chief Fire Officers, DST/RRT Technicians, EOC Management, IMAT Team Members Level III & IV.
