Debris Management Workshop and Exercise

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are pleased to announce a Debris Management Workshop. The workshop is designed to bring in experts who have worked in areas across the country where debris management was an issue within the disaster. Some of the discussion topics are as follows: -Review of Public Assistance -Pre-Planning and Debris Management Plan -Debris Operation Basics (estimating, sectoring, debris pick-up/removal) -Staging/Reduction Sites -Discussion Based Exercise Target Audience: Public Works, Public Utilities, Emergency Management Officials, Solid Waste Management, Emergency Management, Fire Officials, and other entities involved in debris management.
