New Course Available for Incident Action Planning

IS-201 Forms Used for the Development of the Incident Action PlanFEMA's Emergency Management Institute (EMI) has designed a new Independent Study course that will build skills in Incident Action Planning through the use of specific Incident Command System (ICS) forms. The Target Audience for this course is the emergency management and response personnel who may be called upon to function in a Command, General Staff, or Unit Leader position during a significant incident or event, and who may be called upon to help prepare some portion of the Incident Action Plan. Course OverviewThis is a web-based training course on the National Incident Management System (NIMS) Incident Command System (ICS). The course is designed to provide training through an independent study vehicle on the use of ICS forms. The course should take about 2 hours to complete, and offers 0.3 Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Course Objectives
NIMS ComplianceThis course is NIMS compliant and meets the NIMS Baseline Training requirements for IS-200. PrerequisitesICS 100, 200, 300, & 700 IS-201: Forms Used for the Development of the Incident Action Plan is available now on the EMI Independent Study website.
