Disaster Recovery Centers in Oxford and Lincoln Counties

Officials from Maine Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will be opening two additional Disaster Recovery Centers in Lincoln and Oxford counties next week to assist individuals and business owners impacted by the severe storms and flooding that occurred April 15-23. The centers will be at:

Lincoln County Communications Center
34 Bath Road
Opening: Tuesday, May 29
Hours: Mon. - Sat., 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Oxford County Courthouse
26 Western Avenue
South Paris
Opening: Wednesday, May 30
Hours: Mon. - Sat., 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Those affected are asked to first register for assistance by calling toll-free 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or 1-800-462-7585 (TTY) for the hearing and speech impaired, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., seven days a week. Registration can also be done online at

Disaster Recovery Centers will be staffed with recovery specialists who are available to assist individuals and businesses from the declared counties with follow-up questions about their application. Representatives from FEMA, MEMA, voluntary agencies and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) will be on hand. In addition, written materials describing the various assistance programs and mitigation plans outlining how to reduce damage from future disasters will also be made available.
