Wiscasset School District to Conduct Disaster Exercises

Drills scheduled to exercise District Wide Emergency Operations Plan

Lincoln County EMA is working with the Wiscasset School District to exercise their Emergency Operations Plan. A series of exercises will be conducted in the Wiscasset School District over the weeks of May 11th through May 15th and May 25th through May 29th.

These exercises will be brief for each school. All teachers and students have been completely prepared for the drill and any concerns have been addressed during training sessions over the past school year.

Lincoln County EMA expects the exercises to be educational and enjoyable for all.

The County EMA thanks all of the staff, students, and especially the Superintendent’s office and Principals for an enjoyable experience working with them to formalize their Emergency Operations Plan for their District.
