Cumberland County Graduates CERT Members

The Cumberland County Emergency Management Agency is pleased to announce that 25 members of the Community Animal Response Team (CART) have completed necessary training through the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT). The CERT training currently consists of 9 modules of training, which is usually held over several months. The training includes search and rescue techniques, fire extinguishing, incident command, and ends with a full scale exercise. If interested in joining a CERT, CART, Search and Rescue, or Amateur Radio Emergency Services (ARES) group, please contact your local county director.
