Training Announcement-American Heart Assocation CPR Instructor Course

April 12Training DescriptionThis course will be sponsored by MEMA and conducted by Northeastern EMS in an effort to train those individuals who have current American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver Certifications how to instruct AHA Cadiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) courses. The course will go over the required class materials, teaching methods, and proper paperwork procedures to instruct your own classes. YOU MUST HAVE A CURRENT AHA HEARTSAVER CPR CARD BY THE START OF THIS COURSE. NO EXCEPTIONS. Who should attend?Current Community/County Emergency Response Team Members (CERT) or any other Citizen Corps team member (ARES/EMCOMM, SAR, CART). Must have a current American Heart Association (AHA) CPR/First Aid/AED Certification. Instructors:Sally Taylor, EMT-P, Northeastern EMS Course Location:The course will be held at Maine Emergency Management Agency. It is located at the Central Maine Commerce Center, 45 Commerce Drive in Augusta. Class will run from 10:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m. Light lunch will be provided.
