The Second Day of Christmas: A Smoke Alarm

Bookmark and Share

December 13, 2014

On the Second Day of Christmas give your true love a SMOKE ALARM. Smoke Alarms should be installed on every level of a home: outside bedrooms on the ceiling or high on the wall, at the top of open stairways or at the bottom of enclosed stairs and near (but not in) the kitchen. Nowadays they are often combined with Carbon Monoxide Alarms. Check your smoke alarms every month and replace their batteries when Daylight Savings Time begins in the spring and ends in the fall. Special thanks to the American Red Cross for these 12 Days of Christmas.
