Some of the images are large; some of the links are slow (especially when there's "interesting" weather somewhere).
University of Wisconsin Space Science and Engineering CenterThese large images are the highest resolution satellite images we've found. Often 500-to-600 kb in size, the visible images can provide some spectacular images of storms. Index to weather images  Purdue University WXP Weather ProcessorSatellite images and a wealth of additional weather information from the Earth and Atmospheric Sciences department at Purdue University. Includes imagery from the GOES satellites, synoptic maps, and much detailed computer model forecast information. Index to weather images - text only  Intellicast - a service of WSI CorporationLocal conditions and forecasts; near-realtime doppler radar images. Not especially good for satellite imagery: the images are small composites generated from infrared satellite imagery. They do load quickly, however.
