You may also choose to request the report from just one agency every four months so that you can space out your free credit report and monitor it all year without any fees. If you find any information that is not accurate, you have a right to have that information corrected. If you find many open credit accounts that you no longer use, you can improve your credit rating by closing unnecessary credit card or credit line accounts.
