ORDER APPROVING REVISIONS

TO STANDARD OFFER STANDARD

FORM CONTRACT

            On May 21, 2003, Central Maine Power Company (CMP) filed proposed revisions to the Standard Offer Standard Form Contract and to its exhibits.  CMP indicated that the proposed revisions are of a housekeeping nature, such as changing dates and providing correct references to NEPOOL requirements.

 

            On May 30, 2003, Bangor Hydro-Electric Company (BHE) filed proposed revisions to its exhibits to the Standard Form Contract.  Except for a proposed change to the uncollectible amounts, BHE’s revisions are also of a housekeeping nature.  BHE proposes to reduce the uncollectible amount for the large class from 0.21% to 0.02% to reflect more recent experience.

 

            I have reviewed the proposed changes to the language of the contract and exhibits and find them to be reasonable.  I also conclude that BHE’s proposed change to the uncollectible amount for the large class is generally consistent with recent write-off levels for the class.  Accordingly, I approve revisions proposed by CMP and BHE.
