Request for Proposal

 

 

The Maine Public Utilities Commission (MPUC) seeks a Public Interest Payphone Provider (“PIP Provider”) that will supply, install, and maintain Public Interest Payphones and to arrange for local, intrastate, and interstate service and remit recurring payments for these services.

           

Chapter 252 of the Commission’s Rules provides more information regarding Maine’s Public Interest Payphone Program.  Chapter 252 and other relevant information may be found on the Commission’s web page at www.maine.gov/mpuc/doing_business/forms/forms_business.html  .

                        Six (6) sealed copies of the proposal must be clearly marked “PUC RFP #806304 ”  and delivered to the Division of Purchases, Burton M. Cross State Office Building, 4^th Floor, 111 Sewall Street, 9 State House Station, Augusta, ME 04333-0009 no later than 2:00 p.m. local time on November 21, 2006.  Please note that only proposals actually received at the 4^th Floor, Burton M. Cross State Office Building, at or prior to the stated time will be considered; bidders submitting proposals by mail are responsible for allowing adequate time for delivery.  Proposals received after the 2:00 p.m. deadline will be rejected, without exception.
