Continuing Education Stipends

The three districts and the CMLD Association have pooled resources to offer 30 $50 stipends - 10 in each district to help defray the costs of attending continuing education events. Anyone working in a library is encouraged to apply but, in the event of overwhelming demand, preference will be given to those meeting the criteria listed below. A committee made up of the district consultants and the chairs of the district executive boards will review the applications.

Criteria for receiving a stipend

  • Library operating budget less than $25,000 preferred
  • First time attendee to a library conference or workshop will be given preference
  • The event must be library related, either on library administration, programs, services or technology
  • Completeness and appropriateness of the application

Submit your form for a CE stipend
  1. You will receive a copy of your submitted application by email. If your application is accepted, you will receive an email and the check will be sent to the mailing address indicated in the Library Information section of the application.
