Discontinuance of Unsupported Compilers and Run-time Libraries

A reminder that vendor unsupported COBOL and FORTRAN compilers and run-time libraries on the IBM /OS390 computing platform will be discontinued effective July 1, 2001:

Existing COBOL applications, which have been compiled with any of the above compiler products, should be migrated to "IBM COBOL for OS/390". In addition, the IBM VS FORTRAN Version 2.6.0 Compiler, Library and Interactive Debug product will be discontinued July 1.

Anyone needing to utilize these COBOL and FORTRAN products after July 1, 2001, should notify Nick Zaharchuk at Nick.Zaharchuk@state.me.us (624-9441) as soon as possible.
