BANK SUPERINTENDENT’S NOTICE

TO INTERESTED PARTIES

   

Sanford Institution for Savings, Sanford, Maine notified the Superintendent of the Bureau of Financial Institutions, pursuant to Title 9-B M.R.S.A. §373, of its intent to establish a de novo branch to be located at 501 Islington Street, Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

You may request that the Bureau of Financial Institutions require Sanford Institution for Savings to submit a comprehensive application in support of their proposal through Wednesday, September 26, 2012, pursuant to the provisions of Title 9-B M.R.S.A. §336.  Written comments should be submitted to the Bureau of Financial Institutions, 36 State House Station, Augusta, Maine 04333-0036 or electronically through the Bureau of Financial Institutions’ Web site at http://www.maine.gov/financialinstitutions.
