FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS SUPERINTENDENT'S
NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES

University Credit Union, Orono, Maine, has requested permission to amend its bylaws to expand its field of membership, in accordance with Title 9-B M.R.S.A. § 848.

University Credit Union is a multiple common bond credit union whose field of membership consists primarily of employees, students and alumni of the University of Maine System.  The proposed bylaw change was to expand its field of membership to add employees, students and alumni of Northeast Technical Institute, Scarborough, Maine.

The Bureau reviewed the documentation submitted by University Credit Union in support of its request.   As a result of that review and analysis, the Bureau approved the request to expand the field of membership by adding the requested select employee group.  Therefore, the field of membership bylaw for University Credit Union is amended to add employees, students and alumni of Northeast Technical Institute, Scarborough, Maine.

Any person aggrieved by this final agency action shall be entitled to judicial review, pursuant to the provisions the Maine Administrative Procedures Act, Title V, Chapter 375, Subchapter VII (5 M.R.S.A. § 11001, et seq.).
