Training Requirements for Producers/Brokers to Sell Products on the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace

In order to sell approved plans on the Federally-Facilitated Exchange/Marketplace in Maine producers/brokers will need to take the required Federal training. This is a two-step process.

They must complete the training online on the Medicare Learning Network (MLN). https://marketplace.medicarelearningnetworklms.com/

They must then complete the identity proofing on the CMS Enterprise Portal.  Please allow 48 business hours to elapse after completing the training before attempting to access the identity proofing process.  https://portal.cms.gov/

For additional resources for producers/brokers regarding the Federally-Facilitated Marketplace please see the information published by CCIIO- The Center for Consumer Information  & Insurance Oversight http://www.cms.gov/CCIIO/Programs-and-Initiatives/Health-Insurance-Marketplaces/a-b-resources.html
