IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING STATE GOVERNMENT CLOSURES

Maine State Government will be closed Thursday, December 24, 2009 as required by the State budget and Friday, December 25th in observance of Christmas. We will reopen on Monday, December 28th. Many services offered by the Office are always available on this website.

The Office of Licensing and Registration ("OLR") is an umbrella agency consisting of 38 professional and occupational licensing boards and licensing programs administered by a staff of 57 employees. OLR protects the public against unqualified, incompetent and unethical practitioners through licensure, establishment of practice standards, inspection, complaint investigation and, when warranted, imposition of professional discipline.
