Maine State Government will be closed Tuesday, February 16, 2010 as required by the State budget and Monday, February 15th in observance of President's Day. Many services offered by the Office are always available on this website.

The Office of Licensing and Registration ("OLR") is an umbrella agency consisting of 38 professional and occupational licensing boards and licensing programs administered by a staff of 57 employees. OLR protects the public against unqualified, incompetent and unethical practitioners through licensure, establishment of practice standards, inspection, complaint investigation and, when warranted, imposition of professional discipline.
