Automated License Plate Recognition Working Group

Public Law Chapter 605 required the Secretary of State to establish a working a group to study and assess issues surrounding the use of automated license plate recognition systems and to report back to the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation no later than January 15, 2011.

The working group will meet during the Fall of 2010 and will post the groups working papers* on this page. The final report will be available after it has been presented to and reviewed by the Joint Standing Committee on Transportation in 2011
