Both his public and personal collection is held by the Archives. The Archives holds a collection of several hundred Civil War officers' photos . Copies of all photos are available . MapsAs we work through the 93 million records in the Archives, we identify and record each map found among them. Dating from the 1700’s, some show the New England region, the state, parts of the state, towns, parts of towns, individual parcels, and cemeteries. The 6,000+ maps may be searched by town, surveyor, and range of years.Search FacilitiesBoth collections have been placed on databases for search by keywords and words in the descriptions of the images. They may be searched on PC's in our Research Room. Searches produce lists of images with reference information. They do not display the images themselves. |
