Materials for Grantees

Grant Opportunities and Forms

Grants are often available for historical archival and museum collections and facilities projects. The exact nature of the grant programs changes frequently, so be sure to check for updates before planning to apply. This page contains information on four grant programs as well as forms for those who have already received grants.

Recent Updates

Maine New Century Community Program Historical Museum Collections Grants and Facilities Grants are no longer available. The program is terminated pending additional funding.

Historical Records Collections Applications: IMPORTANT NOTE: The current grant form for Basic Projects gives a deadline of March 1, 2012. We HAVE received further funding, so there will continue to be rolling deadlines for projects of up to $1000, although there might be a gap of a month or two. It is expected that there will be a Major Projects deadline of Oct. 1, 2012, but we are still working out the details. New grant forms will be available by the end of the month.
