Collections Notes:

Content/There are materials of great interest to genealogists, historical/contextual researchers, and

Scope:educators. Of particular note are the comprehensive collections of town reports and school

yearbooks, family reunion sheets, Acadian Festival documents, and bound genealogy volumes

for area families. Along with a photograph collection and scrapbooks, the oral history tapes

and Dufour store ledger (dating from 1844) provide a unique perpective on Madawaska and its

residents.
