Secretary of State Charles E. Summers, Jr. to Speak at the Maine Notary Education Day

AUGUSTA, Maine – Secretary of State Charlie Summers will speak at the Maine Notary Education Day held by the Informed Notaries of Maine on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Calumet Club of Augusta.  Deputy Secretary of State Julie Flynn and Director of the Division of Corporations, UCC & Commissions Cathy Beaudoin will also be speaking. 

The workshop will cover changes in notarial law and will also include a brief overview of the notary public's duties in Maine.  There will also be several notaries on hand to answer any questions.  It is free and open to the public. Pre-registration is recommended.
