State Archivist, David Cheever Speaks at Greene Central School about Maine’s involvement in the American Civil War

Presentation to 6th grade students is part of the Secretary of State’s Sesquicentennial for Schools Program

AUGUSTA, Maine – State Archivist, David Cheever speaks to 6th grade students at Greene Central School on February 28, 2012.  Mr. Cheever’s presentation focused on Maine's role in the Civil War and specifically on people from Greene and surrounding towns who were involved in pivotal events.

The Sesquicentennial for Schools Program is part of an ongoing commemoration by the Maine State Archives of the 150th anniversary of the beginning of America’s Civil War.
