The State Planning Office coordinates the preparation of policies to guide and carry forward the development and conservation of the state's energy resources and is frequently called upon to assist the Governor and other state agencies. OEIS has current energy data on state home heating prices and publications on the state's efforts to become energy independent through renewable resources.
